The Suffolk Whole Hog event takes place on the Sunday 15th October.
Suffolk Whole Hog have developed a hugely successful event, ensuring volunteers are at the heart of the event (whilst providing a positive experience for all).
2017 will be the 11th year of staging the Whole Hog in Suffolk and is expected to be the biggest yet. Alongside the standard Whole Hog (5 miles), there will also be the Boss Hog (8 miles), with participants taking on a series of challenges / obstacles along the route. The races are tough, fun, wet and wild!
Ensuring volunteers are at the heart of the event (whilst providing a positive experience for all), the Suffolk Whole Hog offers an excellent opportunity for individuals to support a local event (benefiting a range of charities) in a fun and friendly environment.
The Suffolk Whole Hog obstacle/endurance event takes place in the picturesque grounds of Wantisden Valley, Butley. Each event has been a great success with excellent media coverage from both TV and newspapers, helping to raise crucial funds for local charities and raised their profile.
With over 800 competitors including teams and individuals running from local businesses, Suffolk Whole Hog has become an excellent community event.
As well as the opportunity to raise money for charities the other aim of the event is to encourage people to have fun and exercise at the same time.
