Activities assistant

Description of the role:

Coupals Court offers supported housing for Young Parents. We are looking for people that would be happy to arrange and lead on activities with the children and their parents 2 - 4 times per month. For example messy play, making keepsakes, cards, Christmas decorations & decorating biscuits.

What skills are needed?

Although previous experience in a support setting is desirable it's not essential. Above all we are looking for commitment, energy and natural ability to work with, and relate to our diverse customer groups. We are looking for enthusiastic, down to earth people.

What skills will be learned / gained?

Volunteering gives you the opportunity to be valued, learn new skills, build a social network, share experiences and skills and have fun. You will enrich our residents lives which will breakdown barriers to social inclusion and empower them to integrate in their environment and the wider community
