Unit Helper at 5th Stowmarket Brownies

Description of the role:

Helping the existing leadership team run weekly Brownie meetings (for girls aged 7-10 years), during term time, to complete programme activities which may include crafts, cooking, games & outdoor challenges.

What skills are needed?

No previous experience of Girlguiding required. An enthusiasm for working with & supporting young women, in a safe & friendly learning environment, to gain new skills.

What skills will be learned / gained?

Basic First Aid & Safeguarding. Team work & supervising young people in a positive way to achieve new skills.
Counts towards the service element of the D of E Award Scheme & enhances your CV skill set.

Basic online Guiding Safeguarding training
